Ivana Bostrom, Chief Executive Officer & President, of The Executive Corner, comes with over 15 years’ experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. Originally from Orlando, Florida; after pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from Rollins College, she decided to relocate to South Florida to become a Sr. Healthcare Executive Recruiter for a top firm.  Her passion, dedication and hard work, quickly earned her a position as the Division Director for the company.  She eventually went back to her original “roots” of Central Florida to start her own Healthcare Recruiting Firm.

During her tenure as a Recruiter and Managing Director, she has been responsible for account management, business development, contract negotiations, career coaching, resume writing, talent acquisition, training, managing internal staff, and has achieved a successful placement track record. 

She has staffed for various disciplines, such as; power generation, engineering, administrative, healthcare, biotechnology, medical sales, information technology, accounting and finance. Her area of focus is in Healthcare Information Technology, specifically in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and Senior Healthcare Executive positions.


Throughout her career, Ivana has had the privilege to work exclusively with clients nationwide and internationally to find solutions for their hiring needs. Furthermore, she takes great pride in providing superb representation to each consultant by treating them as “people” oppose to just a number.


The longevity she holds within the staffing realm has given her the tools, knowledge and expertise to start her own firm. She has been able to identify what works and what doesn’t work in the industry.  “It’s all about quality, not quantity”, says Ivana.  “Most staffing agencies are paper pushers.  Recruiters just send multiple resumes in hopes that one sticks.  If you’re an expert at what you do, actively listen to your client, then there is no need to bombard them with a million resumes.  Besides, their time is valuable, that is why they’re depending on you”.

When not at work, Ivana does what she loves the most; raising her daughter.  She also enjoys reading, writing, traveling, visiting art museums, seeing live musical theatre and opera performances.  On her spare time, she dedicates herself to humanitarian outreach work, as well as volunteers with Pet Rescue by Judy; where she takes great pride in giving back to her community and helping homeless animals find permanent homes.
